Saw this in the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport. I assume the investor pitch went like this:
1. Business travelers need to stay in touch with their email.
2. They will pay to use our handy machines. Its the new payphone!
3. We have optimal placement in many large airports, thus guaranteeing traffic.
4. We’ll be rich! Richer than Midas!
This brings to mind the adage from Clayton Christensen: “What assumptions must prove true for this plan to work?”.
